“Don’t take no for an answer!” I rarely take this advice. But I put on my chutzpah hat and decided to try it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, mHub<\/a> rejected me after I asked them to sponsor my meetup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would have left it at that. But I thought they didn’t understand the meetup. I decided to try again. It was out of my normal behavior. I felt this move was too ball-sy. Am I pushing my luck?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I ask why? I think Mhub and our members would be a great match.\u00a0Many in the self quantification world make hardware and software to track biomarkers. They would be interested in memberships at mhub.\u00a0<\/p>


I’m a software developer working on a hardware biotech project and was only interested in mhub after seeing the location when I went to startup week. I think if our members got to see mhub, it could be a great match for some of them.\u00a0<\/p>


Additionally, the founders of Quantified Self could be a great connection for mHub: Kevin Kelly and Gary Wolf. Both editors at Wired. Kevin Kelly is particularly well known amongst tech entrepreneurs for his essay 1000 True Fans. To be honest, I’m not sure how involved they would be but Gary has been helping me set the meetup up. If it was helpful I could connect mhub with them.<\/p>


Let me know, if any of this clarified the connection between our group and mHub. I think it would be a great partnership.<\/p>
